Boys Basketball: Bobcats Down Wolves

The Clarion Area Bobcats downed the homestanding North Clarion Wolves 48-35, in a Keystone Shortway Athetic Conference game on Friday (December 12th).

The Wolves led 12-9 after one, but the Bobcats had a 19-6 second quarter advantage to hold a 38-18 lead at the half. A 16-7 Clarion edge in the third had them up by ten, 35-25 heading to the last stanza, where 13-10 Bobcat advantage set the final.

Nathan Frederick led the Bobcats with a game-high eighteen points. Dylan Smail followed with 9 points, while Wyatt Watterson scored six points, including a three point bucket.

Mason Burford and Trey Hooks had 5 points apiece, Parker Miller contributed 3 points, and Quinn O’Neal had two points.

Noah Baumcratz and Logan Bish led North Clarion with seven points apiece.
