Clarion Area Alumni Association Opens Nominations For The 2nd Annual Clarion Area Alumni Hall of Fame Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Clarion Area Hall of Fame Awards. Nominations will be accepted until February 6th at 3pm. Nominations can be made via the Google Form: https://forms.gle/NZ7ENv8ry5MGYPwt7 or by emailing Jess Seary (’13) for a paper copy at jessfunk369@gmail.com.

In addition to meeting the criteria for the specific award, award winners must be a person of outstanding character, strong leadership abilities and whose impact is highly regarded by those in the Clarion Area community. Moral character, good citizenship and academic performance during school and post high-school years shall be a consideration. The selection committee reserves the right to withhold induction or to remove person(s) already inducted because of a felony conviction.

Self-nominations will not be accepted. Posthumous selections may be made in any category. No one shall win an award from more than one category. Once placed on the nomination list, the nominee shall remain in consideration for five years. After five years, if not selected, the nominee will be removed from the list and may be nominated again. If no nominations are available in a category, the award may not be awarded that year. Nominees must have either graduated or served Clarion Area at least 20 years before induction (ex. 2026 ceremony will award to alumni from the class of 2006 or earlier).

One winner will be selected in each of the following categories:

ACHIEVEMENT (in their field & community)

Clarion Area School District alumni whose distinguished professional or volunteer actions have led to outstanding recognition for their accomplishments in their chosen fields/community on a local, national or international level.

ATHLETICS

Clarion Area School District alumni or teams who deserves special recognition for their athletic achievements during their time at CHS or beyond. 

ARTS

Clarion Area School District alumni who deserves special recognition for their artistic achievements during their time at CHS or beyond. 

SERVICE TO THE SCHOOL (teachers, staff, coaches, volunteers)

Open to teachers, staff, coaches and volunteers who deserve special recognition for their impact on the Clarion Area School District. This recognition could be for any area including athletics, arts, education or any role that directly impacts Clarion Area students.

The 2026 Hall of Fame Awards presentation will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at Clarion Area High School. Formal details to follow.
