Baseball: Bobcats Down Berries

The homestanding Clarion Bobcats downed the Cranberry Berries 16-1 in four innings, in their KSAC baseball matchup, at Clarion County Park, on Thursday (April 23rd).

The Bobcats scored 5 runs in the first inning, 2 in the second, 3 in the third and six in the fourth for their sixteen runs. The Berries run came in the second inning.

Wyatt Watterson had 3 hits for Clarion, including a double and a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Parker Miller singled and doubled, scored 3 runs and had three RBIs. Hayden Weber had 2 hits including, a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in a run.

Billy Kahle doubled, drove in a run and scored a run. Carter Hindman had 2 hits, scored a run and plated a runner. Ethan Rex singled, scored twice and had an RBI.

Lucas Ion singled and drove in a run. Wes Breniman singled and scored a run. Dylan Smail scored 3 runs, while Gabe Anderson drove in a run.

Rex started the game, going the first two innings, striking out five batters. Hindman came on in the third, working the final two innings, striking out two batters and picking up the win.
