Number Of Bobcats Named To 2019 Pennsylvania Football News All-Academic Team (02/23/19)

The Pennsylvania Football News has renewed their All-Academic Team and a number of Clarion Area Bobcats have been named to the 2019 Team (for the 2018 season).

There was no team named for the 2016-17 football seasons, with WesternPAFootball.net naming teams after those seasons.

There are three levels, based on GPA: Gold: 4.0 and above, Silver: 3.5-3.9 and Bronze: 3.0-3.4.

Named to the Silver Team were: seniors Andrew Guth (wide receiver, cornerback) and Archer Mills (quarterback, kicker and safety) and Kyle Porciello (wide receiver and defensive back); junior Cutter Boggess (tailback and strong safety); sophomore Cal German (quarterback and defensive back); and freshman Luca Cherico (center and defensive lineman)

Named to the Bronze Team were: seniors Camden Boggess (running back and linebacker), Tyler McCord-Wolbert (defensive end), Logan Minich (running back and linebacker), Sam Minich (slot back and linebacker) and Nick Porciello (center); and sophomore Ethan Burford (wide receiver and defensive back).
