Volleyball: Lady Cats Down Moniteau (10/16/20)

Jordan Best and Brenna Campbell had big matches for  the Clarion Area Lady Cats Volleyball Team  as they downed visting Moniteau 3-0 (25-5, 25-5, 25-21), on Thursday (October 17th).

Jordan had 18 points (7 aces), 6 digs and an assist. Brenna scored 17 points (4 aces), while dishing out 34 assists and getting 2 digs.

Ava Kiser scored 10 points (1 ace), and had 2 kills and a dig. Erica Selfridge had 4 points (2 aces), 11 kills and ten digs. Korrin Burns scored 3 points (1 ace), and delivered on 16 kills and six digs. Payton Simko scored 3 points and a dig. Aryana Girvan had five kills. Adia Needham had 2 kills and a dig.

The Lady Cat Junior Varsity won their match 2-0 (25-15, 25-19)

Jordan Smith had 10 points (1 ace), 3 kills and 4 digs. Grace Ochs scored 6 points (2 aces), to go along with 2 kills and a pair of digs. Taylor Alston registered 5 points (1 ace) 11 assists, 2 kills and two digs. Bailey Rupert recorded 4 points (3 aces), 4 kills and four digs.

Brianna Pierce scored 3 points (2 aces), and had 5 digs and an assist. Paola Lopez scored 2 points (1 ace), and also had 2 kills and a dig. Alexis Sobalvar had two kills.

The Lady Cats will travel to Corry tomorrow (Saturday, October 17th), where they will face General McLane in the first match, with Corry to follow.
