Clarion-Limestone Boys Soccer Downs Ridgway

The Clarion-Limestone Boys Soccer traveled to Johnsonburg on Thursday, September 23rd, to meet up with the Ridgway Elkers on an incredibly muddy field.

Thomas Uckert had the first and only goal in the first half of the game.

Coming out after halftime, Nate Megnin had the first goal of the second half. Thomas Uckert was able to score his second of the game on a penalty kick.

Nate Megnin was next to score for the Lions. Bailee Verdill had the final goal of the game (setting the final at 5-0 Lions).

Goalie Tyler Bingham with the help of his defensive line had a shutout against the Ridgway team.

The Lions have a three-game week ahead of them. Monday’s game against Forest will be played at the Clarion High School field at 4:30PM, Tuesday the Lions will be at home against Karns City at 6:00PM and Thursday, they will visit. Keystone at 6:00PM.
