Bobcat Boys Harriers Down Keystone
The visiting Clarion Area Bobcat Boys Cross Country Team downed the Keystone Panthers 25-30, on Tuesday (October 12th).
Gavin Hoover led the way for the Cats, with a first place finish, in 20:28.3. Other Bobcats finishing in the Top Five, were: Ryan Alston, in third, with a time of 21:16.1 and Ben Lambert, in fifth at 21:56.
Phillip Bartley recorded a 22:08, good for sixth place and finishing in tenth was Owen Wilson with a time of 34:25.7.
Top Five finishers for the Panthers included: Tyler Pfeiff, who finished second with a 21:15.8 and fourth place finisher Josiah Hansford, who ran a 21:40.2, to finish in fourth.
Their were no Clarion runners in the Girls’ race. Caitlyn Heilman led the Panthers with a 28:09.7.
The Bobcats won both Junior High races, by identical 15-50 scores.
The Bobcats swept the first five places in the Boys’ race, led by Jonas Wilshire, who ran a 13:08.2.
Second through fifth, included Josh Turner with a 13:50 clocking, Nathan Frederick with a 14:09.6, Kaleb Turner at 14:15.6 and Tony Bartley who finished with a time of 15:45.6.
Also competing for the Bobcats were: Quinn O’Neill who ran a 16:26.9 and Wyatt Aaron who recorded a time of 17:04.2.
Joey Spence was the top finisher for the Panthers, placing sixth, with a time of 16:15.7.
Keystone’s Charli Ames finished first in the Junior High Girls’ race, with a time of 13:57.6.
Clarion claimed the next four slots. Anna Hoover was second with a 14:30. Anna O’Toole ran a 15:13.9 for third and in fourth was Callie Snodgrass, who finished at 22:11.2.
