Wildcat Thinclads Compete At 28th DeMans Team Sports Brookville Invitational

The Central Clarion Wildcat Boys’ and Girls’ to part in the 28th DeMans Team Sports Brookville Invitational at the Brookville High School track on Saturday, April 11th, with a number of athlete’s turning in strong performances.

BOYS

Individual results

Mason Buford took second place in the 110 meter hurdles.

Mason Burford had a big meet, finishing first in the 300 Hurdles (40.66), which was a PA Top 50 time, and second in the 110 hurdles (15.45), after running a 15.36 in the preliminaries, which was also a PA Top 50 time.

Noah Frederick finished second in the long jump (20′-11″).

Caleb Hunter captured third in the 100 (11:19) and was fourth in the 200 (22.97). Brody Beggs came away with a third in the 200 (22.90) and sixth in the 100 (11:20). Brady Guth was third in the 800 (2:04.03).

Nathan Frederick was garnered fourth in the 400 (53.38) and twelfth in the high jump (5-6).

Jackson Mranvintz was eleventh in the 200 (23.87).

Josh Turner finished twelfth in the 3200 (10:52.21). Chris Kim was twelfth in the 800 (2:13.29) and Drake Edmonds finished in a 5-way tie for twelfth in the pole vault (9′-0″). Charlie Hepfl captured thirteenth in the javelin (135′-6″) and fifteenth in the discus (102′-5″) and Cash Gilmore finished in a 2-way tie for nineteenth in the high jump (5′-2″).

Brendan Bettwy was twenty-sixth in the 3200 (12:01.46). Blake Weckerly was twenty-sixth in the javelin (111′-3″). Kayden Fiscus took thirtieth in the discus (84′-7″) and thirty-second in the shot put (30′-6.50) and with Alex Hummel finishing thirty-third place finish in the 800 (2:26.76).

GIRLS

Individual Results

Hanna Love took third place in the 1600 (5:39.03).

Freshman Hannah Love took 3rd place in the 1600 meter run.

Adisen Jackson captured fourth place in the 800 (2:31.65) and thirteenth in the in the 400 (1:05.33). Julianna Schwabenbauer was fifth in the high jump (4′-10″) and twenty-eighth in the 400 (1:10-33″).

Emily O’Toole came away in a 2-way tie for seventh in the triple jump (31′-7″) and finished forty-seventh in the 100 (15:58). Marley Kline finished eigth in the long jump (14′-10″) and finished in a 6-way tie for fourteenth place in the high jump (4′-6″).

Liv McGinley finished twelfth in the 400 (1:04.97) and twenty-sixth in the 200 (29:35). Eliza Datko took sixteenth in the 800 (2:46.82). Reise Jackson came away with eighteenth place in the 1600 (6:10.86), Dana Coulson finished eighteenth in the 3200 (14:02.01), while Lillian Shirey finished eighteenth in the triple jump (30′-1″).

Corinne Hepfl was twenty-sixth in the long jump (13′-2″). Madison Schill was twenty-seventh in the 200 (29.44), Kaelynn Fitzsimmons finished thirty-second in the javelin (64′-9″) and Eve Gilmore was thirty-sixth in the javelin (51′-1.00″).

RELAYS

Boys

The 4×100 relay team of Hunter, Beggs, Mranvintz and Burford finished second (43.83) as did the 4×800 relay team consisting of Jackson Bettwy, Guth and Wilshire finished second (8:38.02).

Girls

The 4×400 relay team consisting of Schill, McGinley, Schwabenbauer and Adisen Jackson finished eighth (4:35.58) while the 4×100 relay team of Kline, McGinley, Schill and Hepfl finished eleventh (55:52).
