Wildcats Do Well At Redbank Valley Track And Field Invitational

The Central Clarion Track and Field Team participated in the Redbank Valley Invitational, on Thursday, May 20th.

They had some fine individual performances and a first place boys relay and second place girls relay.

WILDCAT BOYS INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

Brady Guth captured Gold in the 800 (2:05.33).

Two runners earned Silver medals. Nathan Frederick took second in the long jump (20-6), with Jackson Baker finishing second in the 1600 (4:33.19).

Brody Beggs finished third in the 100 (11.20) and Jonas Wilshire finished third in the 800 (2:05.33). Caleb Hunter was fourth in the 100 (11:30). Joshua Turner finished fifth in the 3200 (10:55.48) and eighth in the 1600 (4:55.92), while Jackson Mranvantz took fifth in the 400 (53.44) and 14th in the 100 (11.75).

Ryan Miles was sixth in the triple jump (39-3.5). Charlie Hepfl finished seventh in the javelin (146-6) and ninth in the discus (113-4). Alex Hummel captured seventh in the 3200 (11:09.51).

Brendan Bettwy was eighth in the 800 (2:08.66) and Kolen Kemmer finished ninth in the javelin (131-4)

Blake Weckerly captured twelfth in the javelin (124-1). Daniel Schweitzer finished twenty-seventh in the long jump (15-5.5) and Kayden Fiscus took twenty-eighth in the discus (92-11).

WILDCAT BOYS RELAY RESULT

The Boys captured Gold in the one relay they entered, the 4×800 (8:47.73). The team consisted of Wilshire, Bettwy, Baker and Guth.

Adi Jackson ran for Gold in the 800 (2:27.58), while Hanna Love earned the Silver medal in the 1600 (5:35.47) and Bronze in the 800 (2:31.63).

Isabella Anthony captured third in the shot put (31-4) and sixth in the discus (94-4).

Marley Kline also came away with a third place finish in the long jump (16-2.5) in the long jump. She also had a sixth place finish in the high jump (4-8).

Reise Jackson was sixth in the 1600 (5:55.93).

Julianna Schwabenbauer took fifth in the 800 (2:39.28) and another fifth in the high jump (4-8). Liv McGinley was fifth in the 400 (1:05.41). Corrine Hepfl finished in a two way tie for sixth in the javelin (97-6) and fourteenth in the long jump (14-3). Reise Jackson was sixth in the 1600 (5:55.93). Emma Fitzsimmons had a seventh place finish in the 300 hurdles (51.94). Dana Coulson was ninth in the 3200 (14:42.62) and tenth in the 1600 (6:10.37).

Laney Wright garnered eleventh in the discus (80-3). Braelyn DeFranco had a twelfth place finish in the 200 (31:40) and in the 400 (1:13.71) and a twentieth in the 100 (14.97). Addison Owen finished thirteenth in the 200 (31.80) and eighth in the 100 (14.90). Grace Reinsel was thirteenth in the 400 (1:13.71) and twenty-first in the 100 (15.11) Kaelynn Fitzsimmons was fifteenth in the javelin (76-8).

The Girls got the Silver Medal in the one relay they entered, the 4×400 (4:22.17). Running the relay were Maddie Schill, Adi Jackson, McGinley and Love.
