Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Announces 2026 Spring Sports All-Conference Teams; A Number Of Bobcats And Wildcats Named

The Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference announced their 2026 Spring Sports All-Conference Teams on Monday, May 11th, with a number of Clarion Area Bobcat Baseball players, Central Clarion Wildcat Softball players and Wildcat Boys and Girls Track and Field athletes have been selected.

CLARION AREA BASEBALL   

Two Bobcats made the First Team, Hayden Weber at Catcher and Dylan Smail as an Infielder.

Making the Second Team are Wyatt Watterson in the Outfield and Ethan Rex in the Infield.

The Baseball MVP is Redbank Valley’s Braylon Wagner.

CENTRAL CLARION WILDCAT SOFTBALL   

Jesalyn Girt was selected to the Third Team at Second Base.

The Softball MVP is Peyton McElravy from Keystone.

CENTRAL CLARION WILDCAT BOYS TRACK AND FIELD 

Mason Burford earned two individual Second Team nods, in the 110 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles. Brody Beggs was also named to the Second Team in two events, the 100 and 200.

Other Wildcats named to the Second Team include Nathan Frederick in the Long Jump, and Jackson Baker in the 1600. Frederick was also named to the Third Team in the 400.

Brady Guth earned Third Team in the 800.

The 1600 Relay consisting of Caleb Hunter, Guth, Frederick and Beggs earned First Team, as did the 3200 Relay, run by Jonas Wilshire, Brendan Bettwy, Guth and Baker.

The 400 Relay, which included Jackson Mranvantz, Hunter, Beggs and Burford were Second Team.

Co-Boys Track and Field MVPs are Hayden Freeman from Brookville and Karns City’s Alex Wilson.

CENTRAL CLARION GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD 

Adi Jackson made the Second Team in the 800, with Isabella Anthony named to the Second Team in the Shot Put.

Julianna Schwabenbauer made Third Team in the High Jump and Hannah Love earned Third Team in the 1600.

Co-Girls Track and Field MVPs are Beatrice Hosar from Cranberry and Redbank Valley’s Ella Rizzo.
