Baseball: Bobcats Fall To Crusaders

The Clarion Area Bobcats dropped a 13-1 decision to the visiting Elk County Catholic Crusaders in non-conference action at Clarion County Park, on Thursday, May 15th.

The Crusaders scored four in the second, one in the third, two in the fifth, five in the sixth and one in the seventh.

The Bobcats run came in the third, with Hayden Weber driving in Evan Kriebel with a single.

Dylan Smail had a double for the Cats, while Wyatt Watterson and Carter Hindman each singled.

The Bobcats are set to enter the District Nine Class 1A Playoffs. They have a bye in the quarterfinals, and will play the winner of the Coudersport – Port Allegany quarterfinal matchup, on Thursday, May 19th at Berwind Park in St. Marys.
