Rhoades Throws 1 Hitter In SMI Win (04/28/14)

Skylar Rhoades takes a no-hitter into the bottom of the 4th and final inning Saturday April 26th, leading SMI to a 10-0 win over Pizza Pub.

Rhoades was sensational facing a total of 13 batters on the day striking out 9 of them and giving up just 1 hit.

With two outs in the bottom of the 4th down 10-0, Pizza Pub’s Nate Datko ripped the only hit of the day for Pub into right field. Rhoades was unfazed and continued to fire from the mound, striking out the final batter of the day.

Rhoades and Danny Ketner each doubled for SMI while Owen REINSEL had a pair of singles. Christian Simko also singled. Rhoades and Simko each stole home on passed balls.
