On Thursday, May 22nd, Pizza Pub improved their record to 6–5 on the season with an 8–5 win over Burns and Burns.

Hayden Callen got the game off with a bang, doubling to left center. Ethan Burford and Reece Geiger followed that with singles as Burns jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. In the bottom of the inning, Connor Kromer walked, Josh Craig and Ian Larson singled and Nate Datko doubled as the Pub evened the score at three at the end of the first inning.

In the second, singles by Callen and Lake Staub drove in Brian Andreas who reached base after being hit by a pitch. Kromer and Datko highlighted the bottom of the second with doubles as the Pub plated three more runs to take a 6–4 lead after 2 innings.
