Pub evened things up quickly. Josh Craig reached on a fielder’s choice and scored a batter later on Nate Datko’s double. Datko then scored on Ian Larson’s RBI groundout and the first inning closed in a 2-2 tie.

Rotary never slowed down in the 2nd. Beau Verdill, and Ethan Judlin walked to start the frame. Travis Devey reached on a single. Then Lapinto plated Verdill and Judlin with a double. Devey and Lapinto scored a pitch later, when Goheen ripped a single down the right field line. Goheen was later caught stealing. Cal German restarted the rally with a single moved to third, on Kalinowski’s single and scored on a Hunter Craddock ground out. It looked like Rotary would get even more when Hayden Siegel laced a line drive to center, but Pub center fielder Benny Murtha made an amazing diving catch to end the inning, with Rotary having a commanding 7-2 lead.

Goheen struck out the side in the bottom of the 2nd and Rotary was back at the plate.

Braden Rankin led the inning off with a walk. Travis Devey followed with a 1 out single. LaPinto walked to load the bases. Goheen reached on an error scoring Rankin. German, Kalinowski, and Siegel all drew RBI walks before Pub could induce 2 strikeouts to end the inning. Rotary now had a 12-2 lead.

Goheen induced a pop out before Josh Craig reached on an error. Goheen was then pulled. He finished his day on the mound giving up 3 runs, 2 of them earned on 2 hits, allowing 0 walks and striking out 4.

Kalinowski came on in relief. He walked Datko and Larson, before recording a ground out which scored Craig. Datko scored the final Pub run when Datko took home on a passed ball. Hayden Siegel then relieved Kalinowski and induced a groundout to end the inning. Rotary crossed the plate 4 more times in the 4th. Devey collected his second single of the game before LaPinto, German, and Goheen all followed with RBI hits. Goheen later scored on an error making the score 16-4. Siegel worked a scoreless 4th and the game ended under mercy rule 16-4.
