Janney Down C-93, In Little League Softball Action (06/09/14)

Janney continued on their winning ways Saturday afternoon with a 16-4 win over C-93.

Janney started early in the contest with three runs in the top of the first and shut down C-93 in their first at bat.

Janney put another three spot on the scoreboard in the top of the second. C-93 countered with a run in their half of the second. Janney score 4 more runs in the the third and eight in the fourth. C-93 three runs in the bottom of the third. Both Kaitlyn Constantino and Nikki Shumaker had three hits for Janney with one of Shumaker’s hits being a triple.

Dorothy Kalinowski had two hits and Kendall Dunn and Kyara Girvan added singles to wrap up Janney’s 10-hit attack.

Kaitlyn Constantino went the distance and pitched all four innings for Janney. She gave up three hits, 2 walks, and had 8 strikeouts.

Jordan Best had two singles for C-93 and Carly Best had a home run.
