Volleyball Team Holds Banquet (12/24/14)
The Clarion Area Lady Bobcats Volleyball Team held their banquet on Sunday, December 15th at the Moose Club in Clarion.
The banquet honored the Lady Cats who were the 2014 Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Champions, as well as the District Nine Class-A Champions. The team made it to the PIAA State Semi-Finals.
The night featured a recognition of the players and support staff.
During the evening’s festivities, several players were recognized for being named to several All-Star Teams, including the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Team.
Those players were:
Katie Eustice, who was named MVP of both the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference All-Conference and the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association District 9 Class-A All-Star Team. Eustice was also named to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Team.
Jennifer Ochs, who was named to the First Team on both the KSAC All-Conference Team and the PVCA District 9 Class-A All-Star Team. Ochs was named to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Team.
Anna McNamara, who was named to the First Team on both the KSAC All-Conference Team and the PVCA District 9 Class-A All-Star Team. McNamara was named to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Team.
Anna Reed, who was named to the First Team on both the KSAC All-Conference Team and the PVCA District 9 Class-A All-Star Team. She was also named to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Team.
