Bobcat Junior High Wrestlers Win Three Recent Matches (02/15/15)

The Clarion Area Junior High Wrestling Team won three contests last week. On Tuesday (February 10th) they downed Ridgway, at home, 49-9.

Then on Thursday (February 12th) they participated in a Tri-Match at Cranberry, which also included Johnsonburg. The Bobcats downed Johnsonburg 51-13 and defeated Cranberry 48-20.

RIDGWAY MATCH

Four Bobcats registered falls for the Bobcats: Frankie Weber (122), Sterling Conner (130), Colt Stimmel (165) and Thomas Wurster (250).

Jordan Walters (138) won a 6-4 decision, Bryce Klawuhn (155) won a 13-2 major decision and Ben Smith (185) won 5-0. Receiving forfeit wins were: Riley Slagle (75) and Curtis Shipley (145). Seth Nellis won 3-2 in an exhibition bout.

JOHNSONBURG MATCH

Login Dehner (85) and Frankie Weber (122) won by fall against their Rams opponents, while Sterling Conner (130) recorded a 7-2 win.

Receiving forfeits for the Cats were: Jordan Walters (145), Bryce Klawuhn (155), Colt Stimmel (165), Seth Nellis (185), Korbin Schill (210) and Thomas Wurster (250).

CRANBERRY MATCH

The Bobcats picked up six falls, against the Berries. Recording pins were: Riley Slagle (75), Login Dehner (85), Frankie Weber (122), Bryce Klawuhn (155), Colt Stimmel (165) and Korbin Schill (210).

Sterling Conner (130) and Thomas Wurster (250) received forfeit wins.
