Clarion Sports Zone Reminder (01/28/17)

Just a reminder to to coaches, parents and fans of youth sports in and around the Clarion Area:

Clarion Sports Zone, the only media outlet solely dedicating to highlighting what is happening our Clarion youth, would love to post stories on their accomplishments. Whether it is elementary wrestling, travel basketball, competitive cheer, gymnastics, equestrian etc. etc. (the gambit), JV and Junior High sports, any individual sport, we’d love to hear from you.

Please send us info on events (send either as email text itself or on Microsoft Word file, also list contributor’s name):

day, date and location of event, any important background of the event (what annual event it is, how many participants, where they are from etc.)
local kids who participated and place finishes and awards
photos (on JPEG file) one or two per event. Always shot with camera horizontal; vertical shots may look good on facebook etc, but will not work for us to use as a feature photo at the top of article.
Caption information: name of photographer and Front (L-R), Back (L-R) etc. of those in group photo, action shots – who athlete is in photo and what is taking place

We need to hear from you. We can make it to only so many events. So we depend on you, those individuals dedicated to youth sports to help with the task of highlighting and giving a pat on the back to our local youth athletes.
