Evelyn Lerch Posts States Third Fastest Middle School 400 Dash Time Of Year (05/12/18)

Evelyn Lerch, a Clarion Area 8th grader, ran a blistering 59:89 in the Girls 400 meter sprint at Altoona Middle School Track and Field Championship at Mansion Park Saturday May 12th.

Competing for the Clarion River Cats Track Club and coached by Keith Murtha, Bill Grove and mother Tammy Lerch, Evelyn swept the competition in the last and fastest heat.  Her time currently places her on PA Milesplit as third in the state of Pennsylvania in the 400 amongst Middle School girls.
