Basketball: Bobcats Down Forest Area (01/0/18)

The Clarion Area Boys Basketball Team downed the visiting Forest Area Flames 64-29, on Friday (January 4th).

The Bobcats jumped out to a 16-4 lead after one period and followed with a 20-10 advantage in the second, to take a 36-14 lead to the locker room. An 18-9 third period advantage, left the Cats with a 54-23 edge going into the final stanza. The Bobcats held a 10-6 edge in the fourth to set the final.

The Bobcats had three players hit for double-figures. Nick Frederick led the way with 16, followed by Cal German’s 15 and Archer Mills’ twelve. Josh Craig just missed double figures with nine.

Franklin Meals and Seth Seidle had 9 and 8 points, respectively to lead the Flames.

The Bobcats will travel to Moniteau on Thursday (January 10th).
