Sam Minich Named All-Western PA By WesternPAFootball.net (01/14/19)

Clarion Bobcat Senior Football Player Sam Minich was recently named First Team Slot Back on the WesternPAFootball.net’s 2018 All-Western Pennsylvania 2A Squad, that was announced on Wednesday, January 9th.

Sam had 503 rushing yards on 53 carries (9.5 yards per carry) and five touchdowns. He had 49 receptions for 775 yards (15.8 yards per catch) and 12 touchdowns. His 775 receiving yards places him second on the Bobcats’ All-Time Single Season Receiving Yardage List, behind only Cody Hearst.

Sam was also named to the 2018 Pennsylvania Football News Coaches Select All-State Team, as the First Team Slot Back. He was also named to the first ever District Nine League All-Star Team, as a Running Back/Slot Back and Linebacker.
