2019 Fall Sports Kick-off Bonfire Celebration To Be Held On Thursday, August 22nd (08/12/19)

The Annual Kick-Off to Fall Sports Bonfire will be held on Thursday, August 22nd at 7:30PM at the Clarion Area High School field (directly behind the High School).

The entire community is invited to this big fall sports kick-off event.

Players and coaches from all fall sports teams, as well as members, of the newly combined Clarion Area and Clarion-Limestone Band, the Dance Team and the Cheer Squad, will be introduced.

The Band will perform a preview of their 2019 repertoire.

The sports teams to be introduced will include: the Football team, with players and coaches from Clarion-Limestone joining Clarion and North Clarion on the Bobcat team; the Volleyball team; the Boys and Girls Golf teams; Boys and Girls Cross Country teams; Girls Soccer (co-op with C-L) and Clarion-Limestone Soccer Team (co-op with Clarion).

Pallets decorated by the different squads will be displayed and after the team introductions, there will be the Pallet Contest, where the pallets will be judged to determine the best pallet.

And finally the everyone will be invited to gather at the Bonfire which will be supervised by Clarion Fire & Hose Company No. 1.

The Dance Team and Cheer Squads are also scheduled to perform. As usual, the “faithful and entertaining,” Doug Klein will be the emcee for the evening. Doug always does a fantastic job.

The Fall Booster Clubs will be providing water and cookies and AMC Classic Cinemas will provide popcorn.
