Clarion-Limestone Soccer Has Good Scrimmage Against Keystone (09/01/19)

The Clarion-Limestone Boys Soccer Team had a good outing in their recent scrimmage against Keystone.

The Lions had three four goals in the first half, including three by Beau Verdill and one by C-L’s foreign exchange student from Germany, Paul …, to give C-L a 4-0 lead.

Beau scored twice in the second half, the first moving the score to 5-0.

That goal was followed by a goal by Keystone, making the score 5-1, Lions. A Keystone defender inadvertently put the ball in their net, moving the score to 6-1, followed by Beau’s fifth goal.

Keystone closed the game out with a goal, setting the 7-2 final.

The Lions’ next game will be on Tuesday (September 3rd), as they host Brookville at 6:30PM.
