Lady Cats Volleyball Team Downs Lady Warriors, Brenna Campbell Records 2,000th Career Assist (10/04/19)

The visiting Clarion Area Lady Cats downed Moniteau in straight sets, 25-6, 25-13 and 25-16, in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference volleyball match-up on Thursday (October 3rd).

Junior Brenna Campbell dished out 24 assists, as she passed the 2,000 for her career. She also scored 19 points (5 aces) and had three digs. She was presented with a ball commemorating the milestone.

Jordan Best scored 12 points (1 ace), and had 3 kills and four digs. Kait Constantino had 7 points (2 aces, 12 kills and eight digs. Korrin Burns recorded 7 points (1 ace), 6 kills and two digs.

Aryana Girvan had 5 points, 5 kills and three digs. K. K. Girvan registered 4 points (1 ace), 4 assists and two digs. Payton Simko had 5 kills and scored a point. Maddie Schill had two kills.

The Clarion Junior Varsity also won their match in straight sets, 25-18, 25-18.

Bri Pierce scored 9 points (7 aces), to go along with five kills. Grace Ochs also scored 9 points (2 aces), with 7 assists and two digs.

Adia Needham had 5 points (2 aces), 3 kills and three digs. Bailey Rupert scored 4 points (1 ace) and had a kill. Noel Anthony registered 2 points (1 ace), 2 assists, 1 kill and a dig. Paola Lopez scored two points to go along with a kill.

The Lady Cats will host Maplewood next Wednesday (October 9th), in a match-up between two perennial PIAA playoff teams.
