Clarion Little League Baseball And Softball Is Going On-Line With Registration (01/12/19)

(By Rob Rinker — President of Clarion Little League)

Clarion Little League announces on-line registration for the first time in the local charter’s history.

Registration in the past was held at the local elementary schools in January and weather was often a factor. There will be no sign-ups at the local schools this year. Parents and guardians now have the convenience of on-line registration and the opportunity to pay via credit card, something not possible in prior years when cash or check were the only payment options.

The enhanced Clarion Little League website has a robust platform allowing users the ability to create and maintain an account. The website is operated by Sports Connect which is the official on-line partner of Little League International for local league technology services. The website offers updated security providing users a trusted site.

The new website also contains a link to the Clarion Little League Facebook site offering an additional social media outlet for updates on league activities.

Clarion Little League provides youth baseball and softball programs to students from Clarion Area, Clarion-Limestone, and Immaculate Conception as well as homeschool or cyber school students living in those districts.

Divisions for ages 5-16 include Tee Ball, Softball (Minor, Little and Senior leagues), and Baseball (Minor, Little, Junior and Senior leagues). Clarion Little League holds a non-profit educational charter status and turns away no applicant regardless of player skillset or economic hardship. Early registration is offered to reduce participant expense.

There is also a family package which allows for additional savings when multiple children are signed up. The early (discount) registration ends on February 12th. Registration assistance is available via phone, email or text.
