Hunter Craddock Leads Bobcats In KSAC Basketball Victory Over Lions

Hunter Craddock registered a double-double, with 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead Clarion Area to a 58-38 victory over homestanding Clarion-Limestone, on Friday (January 22nd).

Cal German also had a double-double for the Cats, with 14 points and eleven rebounds. Christian Simko had 9 points and Beau Verdill followed with seven points. Ezra Brooks and Dawson Smail each chipped in with two.

The Lions led 16-11 after one, but with a 19-7 Bobcats’ edge in the second, Clarion took a 30-23 lead into halftime.

The Bobcats outscored the Lions 14-6 in the third, for a 44-29 lead into the fourth, where a 14-7 Clarion advantage set the final.

Leading the Lions were Hayden Callen with 9 points and Braden Rankin with nine.

Up for the Bobcats next week: They will be at DuBois on Monday (January 25th) They will host Venango Catholic on Wednesday (January 27th) and then will travel to Forest Area on Friday (January 29th).
