Track And Field: North Clarion Falls To Moniteau

The North Clarion Boys and Girls Track and Field Teams visited Moniteau on Wednesday (March 31st), with Moniteau winning both contests. The Warriors won the boys meet 93-53 and the Lady Warriors won 112-38.

Boys

Gavin Hoover and Kaine McFarland were double winners for the Wolves, with Hoover winning the 3200 and McFarland taking the 3200. They teamed up on the winning 3200 relay with Aiden Thomas and Braden Custer. Also taking firsts were Patrick Young in the 800 and Allen Johnston in the long jump.

Second place finishers included: McFarland (1600), Hotchkiss (200), Shaffer(long jump) and Schill (shot put).

Third place finishers included: Hotchkiss (100), Trougott (400), Thomas(300 hurdles), McFarland (800), Hoover (3200), Naser (shot put), Young (discus), Schill (javelin) and Evans (pole vault).

Girls

Trinity Thompson and Rachel Bauer were double winners, for the She-Wolves, with Thompson winning the 400 and Bauer taking first in the3200. They joined with Bella scott and Jordan Hendrickson to take first place in the 1600 relay, in a district qualifying time of 4:52.1. Rebekah Ketner also qualified for districts, taking the shot put with a heave of 32 feet.

Second place winners were: DiDolce (shot put and discus), Pack (100), Sherbine (javelin) and Brooks (pole vault).

Third place winners were: Sherbine (100), Scott (1600) and Hendrickson (400).

North Clarion’s next meet is scheduled for Wednesday (April 7th) at Union.
