North Clarion Track And Field Squads Split With Clarion-Limestone

North Clarion hosted Clarion-Limestone in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference track meet on Thursday (May 6th), with the She-Wolves coming out on top 86-63 and the Wolves falling in a close 76-73 contest.

The She-Wolves won the three relays. Evelyn Lerch, Rachel Bauer, Bella Scott and Trinity Thompson teamed up on both the 1600 and 3200 relays, while Maddie Homan, Shawna Pack, Maya Wilshire and Taylor Sherbine made up the 400 relay.

Pack, Thompson and Sherbine also won individual races. Pack was victorious the 100 hurdles, Thompson won the 800 and Sherbine took the 200. Also placing first for North Clarion were Rebekah Ketner in the shot put, Gabby DiDolce in the discus and Emily McCaslin in the javelin.

Second place finishers for the She-Wolves include: Sherbine in the 100, Bauer in the 1600, Dehner in the 400, Abby Frederick in the 300 hurdles, Schmader in the 200, Brynn Siegle in the 3200, Pack in the high jump, DiDolce in the shot put, Ketner in the discus, McCaslin in the javelin and Brooks in the pole vault.

Third place finishers for North Clarion Were Abi Frederick in the 100 hurdles, Siegel in the 1600, Scott in the 800, Aaron in the 3200, McCaslin in the long jump and high jump and Alana Brooks in the discus and pole vault.

Boys Meet: Clarion-Limestone Lions 76 – North Clarion Wolves 73

The Wolves’ won the 400 relay which consisted of Allen Johnston, Noah Naser Gus Troutgott and Dawson Hotchkiss was victorious. North Clarion also had six individual winners: Hotchkiss in the 100, Johnston in the 200, Naser in the shot put, Young in the discus, Bradley in the javelin and Owen Shaffer in the high jump.

Second place finishers for the Wolves were: Thomas in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles, Johnston in the 100, Gavin Hoover in the 1600, Hotchkiss in the 400, Troutgott in the 200, Kaine McFarland in the 3200, and Schill in the shot put.

Garnering third place finishes for North Clarion were: Swanson in the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles, McFarland in the 1600, Wilson in the 200, Hoover in the 3200, Shaffer in the triple jump, Bradley in the shot put and Naser in the discus and javelin.
