Cross Country: Bobcats Leave a Mark at The Bradford Invitational

The Clarion Cross Country Team had a good showing at the Bradford Invite on Saturday, September 18th, with Hayden Weber – 1st, Anna Hoover – 2nd, Bella Scott – 6th, Eliza Datko – 5th, Jonas Wilshire – 6th, Josh Turner – 8th medaling.

Another great day at the office for Harriers, Saturday at the Bradford Invite with 8 medalists, 6 top top 10 finishes, an overall Champion, a runner up and the Junior High boys took home the 2nd place trophy to AA perennial powerhouse Bradford, leaving them as the top A team.

The Bobcats traveled to Bradford to face the teams up north on District 9, including Coudersport, Smethport, Otto Eldred, State powerhouse Elk County Catholic and host Bradford.

Bella Scott, Ben Lambert, Anna Hoover, Eliza Datko, Hayden Weber, Jonas Wilshire, Caleb and Josh Turner all medaled for the Bobcats.

Elk County took home top honors in boys varsity competition as did the Bradford girls.

The Bobcats open a big week hosting Karns City Tuesday At Clarion County Park 4:30 start, traveling to Moniteau on Thursday for another 4:30 start and the varsity will compete against some of the best in the state Saturday in Hershey at the Foundation Invite on the State course 9 AM start.
