Lady Cats’ McKayla Kerle Is Medalist In KSAC Girls Golf Match

Clarion Area’s McKayla was the medalist in Tuesday’s (September 7th) Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference girls golf match, which was played at Clarion Oaks Golf Club.

McKayla shot a 36 for the win. Also competing for Clarion was Emily Troese, who carded a 61.

Representatives from four schools played on Tuesday, Clarion, Moniteau, Cranberry and Keystone, with only Moniteau and Cranberry having enough golfers to register a team score. Moniteau finished with a 169 and Cranberry had a 180.

Following McKayla in the individual standings Top Five were: Moniteau’s Autumn Stewart and Mariska Shunk, who tied for second at 56, and Moniteau’s Emma Covert and Cranberry’s Alana Hogue who tied for fourth with 57s.
