Clarion-Limestone Boys Soccer Downs Ridgway

The Clarion-Limestone Boys Soccer Team hosted the Ridgway Elkers on Wednesday (October 13th).

Lions won 9-2 with Bailee Verdill and Thomas Uckert both with hat tricks!

Verdill had the assist to Uckert for the first goal of the game. Ridgway was next to score.

Verdill scored next off a rebound shot from Nate Megnin. Megnin had the third goal for the Lions. Verdill had his second of the game followed by Wyatt Boyden.

The halftime score was Clarion-Limestone 5- Ridgway 1.

Uckert had the first goal of the second half with Verdill having the assist.

Ridgway followed with their second of the game.

Verdill then scored his third goal, for his hat trick. Senior defender Brock Smith had the next Lion goal. The final goal of the game was scored by Uckert, for his hat trick.

Goalie Tyler Bingham had another stellar game.  As did his defensive line of: Brock Smith, Peyton Smith, and Charlie Franchino.

The final score was Clarion-Limestone 9 – Ridgway 2.

The Lions meet up with Keystone for a Saturday afternoon game, today (October 16th) at 12:30PM
