North Clarion Honors Track And Field Seniors

The North Clarion Track and Field Team held their Senior Recognition on Tuesday (May3rd), prior to their meet with Union/A-C Valley.

Senior Girls’ Team members honored included Kayla Aaron, Sara Aaron, Kaylee Baumcratz, Rebekah Ketner, Evelyn Lerch, Emily McCaslin and Bella Scott.

Members of the Boys Team who were honored included Kaoz Baker, Parker Evans, Allen Johnston, Brian Schill and Kolten Shaw.

Coach Doug Jackson shared this about the celebration, “The recognition of these seniors was prior to our Tuesday meet versus Union/A-C Valley. It was brief as we were racing against incoming storms. However, it was well done.

“Each athlete was introduced by North Clarion Athletic Director and meet official Bonnie Wolbert. She read how many years each had participated in track and field, told their future plans, and had kind words about each.

“The gifts each was given upon his or her introduction were generously donated by Matt and Tammy Lerch who have been great supporters of our program. Many of these student athletes thanked them as that is the kind of group they are.”

Coach Jackson closed with these fine words about his seniors, “I know I speak on behalf of all coaches, when I say what an awesome group of athletes that will be missed. They have a solid work ethic, and this has made them great examples for younger athletes and has led to team and individual accomplishment as they close out their season. Moreover, they have aided in making our co-op a success.
