Bobcat Boys Down Moniteau In KSAC Cross Country Action

The Clarion Area Boys Varsity downed Moniteau, 17-44, in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference match, on Wednesday (September 22nd).

Hayden Weber finished first with a 19:52, while Jonas Wilshire was second, also with a 19:52. Jacob Turner was third. Nathan Frederick was sixth; Ben Aaron, eighth; Ky Clark, ninth; and Owen Wilson, sixteenth.

Moniteau’s top finisher was Allan Martz, who finished fourth.

There was no Girls Varsity total. Clarion had one runner, Cecylia Bowser who ran a 31:06 for fourth place. Moniteau had four runners, with Jenna Zendron leading the way with 22:43.

Moniteau had no runners in the Boys Junior High race. Wyatt Aaron finished first for the Bobcats, with a 17:17 time. Chris Kim was also clocked in 17:17 and finished in second. Anthony Bartley was third, Martin Ormeno was fourth and Michael Troese was fifth.

Moniteau won the Girls Junior High Race, 21-37, behind Alexis Kirschner’s 17:36, first place finish.

Maddie Schill led Clarion with a third place finish, in 18:14. Maggie Snodgrass finished with an 18:33, for fourth. Cara Wilson finished ninth; Karlee Mahle was tenth; Ashlyn Clark finished eleventh; Callie Snodgrass was twelfth; and Eve Gilmore was thirteenth.

The Bobcats are scheduled to host Cranberry on Wednesday (October 5th).
