Baseball: Tanner Miller Pitches One-Hitter In Bobcats’ 11-0 (Five Inning) Win Over Wolves, Dawson Smail Homers

Clarion Area downed the homestanding North Clarion Wolves 11-0 in five innings, in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference action, on Thursday (April 7th).

Tanner Miller went the whole five innings, throwing a one-hitter, while striking out seven and walking just two.

Clarion scored one run in the first, two each in the second and third innings, four in the fourth and two in the fifth.

Dawson Smail had a big day at the plate for the Bobcat’s, with a homerun and a double. He had two RBIs and scored three runs.

Matt Alston singled and doubled, drove in two runs and scored another. Miller singled and drove in a pair of runs. Wyatt Watterson had a hit, drove in a run and scored twice. Devon Lauer singled, had an RBI and scored once.

Derek Smail had a hit and crossed the plate twice. Dauntae Girvan singled. Bryce Brinkley singled, drove in a run and scored a run. Noah Harrison singled and had an RBI. Hayden Weber had a hit and scored a run.

The Bobcats are scheduled to visit Keystone on Tuesday (April 11th).
