Clarion Bobcat Softball Team Falls To Moniteau Warriors

The Clarion Bobcats softball team fell to the homestanding Moniteau Warriors, 25-10 (3 innings) in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference game, on Thursday (April 20th).

The Warriors opened the scoring with four runs in the bottom of the first. Both teams scored ten runs in the second. Moniteau closed the game out with eleven runs in the fourth.

Bri Forrest and Emily Troese led Clarion on offense. Forrest had two hits (including a home run), two runs scored and two RBIs, while Troese singled, scored a run and drove in three.

Alexa Kitchen and Alicyn Burford each had a hit, scored a run and drove in a run. Kelsey Best and Emileigh Mahle both had an RBI and scored a run. Hadlee Campbell and J. J. Wilson each had a hit and scored.

Haylee Cratsley singled and Brinley Kiskadden score a run.

The Bobcats are scheduled to visit St. Marys this afternoon (Friday, April 21st).
