Bobcats Defeat Falcons In Straight Sets In KSAC Volleyball Action

The Clarion Area Bobcats traveled to Foxburg on Thursday (September 28th) and downed the homestanding A-C Valley Falcons 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-16), in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference action. The Bobcat Junior Varsity also won in straight sets, 2-0 (25-9, 25-10).

Varsity Match

Addiwyn Campbell had a big night setting up her Bobcat teammates, totaling 25 assists. She also scored 4 points and had a dig. Alicyn Burford delivered on 11 points (7 aces), 3 kills and a dig. Anna O’Toole had 8 points (1 ace), 2 kills and five digs. Taylor Alston registered 8 points, 3 kills and three digs. Sophie Babington contributed 7 points (4 aces) and a kill.

Marley Kline knocked down 12 kills, scored 4 points (1 ace), and had three digs. Rhiannon Copenhaver had 2 points (1 ace), an assist and a pair of digs. Alivia Diehl registered 5 kills and Natalie Durish had four digs and one point.

Junior Varsity Match

Lacey Lauer came up big for the Bobcats, with 15 points (10 aces), 5 kills and four digs. Rhiannon Copenhaver scored 6 points (5 aces), to go along with 12 assists and 7 digs. Aubrey Leonard registered 44 points, 5 kills and two digs. Brinley Kiskadden scored 4 points (2 aces) and had three digs.

Anna O’Toole delivered 3 points (1 ace) and two digs, Kelsey Best had 2 points and three digs. Madison Schill registered 2 points, a kill and a dig. Lauren Brinkley had 3 kills and one point and Eve Gilmore had a kill.

The Bobcat Varsity will host the Clarion Volley Ball Booster Club Tournament, on Saturday (September 30th).
