Volleyball: Bobcats Fall To Lions

The Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the visiting Clarion-Limestone Lions in straight sets (18-25, 26-28, 21-25) in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference action, on Wednesday (September 27th).

This was the Bobcats’ Senior Night. (A separate article on the festivities will be posted later.)

Alicyn Burford had 10 service points (1 ace), 4 kills and a dig for the Bobcats. Rhiannon Copenhaver scored 7 points, gathered 6 digs and dished out four assists. Taylor Alston had 7 points, 6 kills and two digs. Addiwyn Campbell scored 6 points, to go along with 21 assists and nine digs.

Marley Kline scored 3 points, knocked down 13 kills and had 6 digs. Natalie Durish had 3 points, 2 assists and ten kills.

Alivia Diehl had two kills and Sophia Babington had a dig.

The Bobcat Junior Varsity won their match 2-0 (27-25, 25-15).

The Bobcats are at A-C Valley tonight (Thursday, September 28th) and then Varsity will host the Clarion Volley Ball Booster Club Tournament, on Saturday (September 30th).
