Bobcats Fall To Karns City In KSAC Girls Basketball Action
The visiting Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the Karns City Gremlins 42-26 in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference girls basketball game, on Thursday (January 11th).
The Gremlins led 9-5 after the first period, 17-10 at the half and 32-16 after three. Both teams scored ten points in the final stanza to set the final.
Taylor Alston led the Bobcats with 7 points, followed by Sophie Babington, who scored six points on two treys. Gia Babington scored five points.
Marley Kline and Lacey Lauer each contributed 3 points and Alivia Diehl registered two points.
Naomi Venesky led the Gremlins with sixteen points, with one bucket from downtown.
The Bobcats are scheduled to host Cranberry on Monday (January 15th).
