Clarion Bobcats Devon Lauer, Taylor Alston Named To 2024 YDL Sports Network All-District 9 Basketball Team, A Number Of Other KSAC Players Also Named (Listing All Selectees, As Well As Links To YDL Sports Network’s Complete Articles Included At Bottom)
The YDL Network has announced their 2024 All-District Nine Basketball Team. They announced the Girls’ Team on Friday, April 5th and the Boys Team on Saturday, April 6th.
Included on this year’s team are two Clarion Area Bobcats, Devon Lauer who made the Boys’ Third Team and Taylor Alston who was given a nod on the Girls’ Third Team.
There were another of other Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference players who also were selected.
Clarion-Limestone’s Jase Ferguson and Karns City’s Tate Beighley were named to the Boys’ First Team. Catherine Kelly from Moniteau, Lily Homan from North Clarion and Mylee Harmon from Redbank Valley were each named to the Girls’ First Team.
Redbank Valley had three Second Team selectees. Mason Clouse and Owen Clouse for the Boys and Addy Bond for the Girls.
Joining Devon on the Boys Third Team were Chason Delarosa-Rugg and Andrew Zepeda from Moniteau, Kieran Fricko from Redbank Valley, and Dawson Camper from Union.
In addition, two individuals from KSAC Schools came away with Top Boys’ Awards. Keystone’s Eli Nellis was named Boys’ Rookie of the Year, while Moniteau head coach Mike Jewart was named Boys’ Chuck Daly Coach of the Year.
