The Central Clarion Wildcats celebrated Senior Day, on Monday, May 13th between games of a doubleheader with the Brookville Raiders at the Clarion-Limestone Sports Complex, honoring their three Seniors, Abby Knapp-Greeley, Emily Troese and Alyssa Wyant and their parents.

Wildcats’ head coach Joe Lopez shared his thoughts on the festivities, “The Senior Day celebration took place between the doubleheader.  Each of the seniors were recognized along with the family members escorting them.  The girls were presented gifts from the team and a tailgate/cookout followed the senior day recognition.  Our parents/families, led by some of the parents, rallied together to provide food for both teams between games.

Special Tailgate/Cookout provided to both teams.

“The three seniors that we honored are great softball players and even better people.  They work hard, bring energy, do things the right way, and have been leaders on our team.  We cannot thank them enough for all they have done for their schools and the softball programs over the years.  We are excited to see them continue their journey as all three will head to college next fall.”

“The parents were a huge help to the success of yesterday’s celebration and have been a huge part of making this year seamless.  The parents helped with gift bags, decorating the field, hanging up posters, etc. and provided food for both teams, coaches, & umpires between games.  We are so grateful for the families associated with this program.”
