Bobcat Golfers Capture 2024 KSAC Boys Mega Match #1

The Clarion Area golf team captured the 2024 Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) Mega Match #1, on Tuesday (August 13th, at Hi-Level Golf Course in Kossuth.

The Cats carded a 191, with Kameron Kerle and James Keenen finishing in a three-way tie for third, with Keystone’s Sean Karg at 35. Lucas Mitrosky was a stroke behind the trio, shooting a 36, good for sixth place. Parker Miller finished twelfth, carding a 41. Wyatt Watterson was seventeenth with a 44. Not in the team scoring, Gabe Anderson registered a 46, to finish in twenty second place.

The Team scoring was: 1) Clarion – 191, 2) Cranberry – 210, 3) Keystone – 216, 4) A-C Valley/Union – 219, 5) Moniteau – 223, 6) Karns City – 236, 7) Forest Area – 243, 8) Clarion-Limestone – 262. (North Clarion didn’t have enough golfers for a team score.)

The Top 10 Individuals included: 1) Joe Rapp (33) – A-C Valley/Union, 2) Dalton Wenner (34) – Cranberry, 3) (3-Way Tie at 35) Kameron Kerle and James Keenen – Clarion, and Sean Karg – Keystone, 6) Lucas Mitrosky (36) – Clarion, 7) (Tie at 37) Joey O’Donnell – Karns City and Conner Early – Moniteau, 9) (Tie at 38) Chloe Fritch – Karns City and Dane Wenner – Cranberry, 10) Jack Buckley (39) – North Clarion.

The Bobcats are scheduled to participate in the Grape Picker Open at Lakeview Country Club in North East, tomorrow (Thursday, August 25th). The next KSAC Mega Match is set for Monday (August 19th).
