Bobcats Down Panthers In KSAC Volleyball Matchup
The Clarion Area Bobcats defeated the visiting Keystone Panthers in four sets (25-13, 19-25, 25-15, 25-18), in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference action on Tuesday (September 3rd).
Leading the scoring for the Bobcats, was Natalie Durish who had 15 points (3aces). She also collected 20 digs and three assists. Lacey Lauer followed with 13 points (2 aces), a pair of kills and four digs. Sophie Babington registered 10 points (2 aces), 4 kills and four assists. Addiwyn Campbell recorded 9 points (2 aces), 34 assists, 7 digs and a kill.
Ali Burford scored 5 points (1 ace) to go along with 6 kills and a dig. Anna O’Toole finished with 5 points and five digs. Aubrey Leonard scored 2 points (1 ace).
Marley Kline had 12 kills and and four digs. Hadley Campbell collected 9 digs and seven assists. Avia Diehl had 5 kills and a dig, with Rhi Copenhaver finishing with 3 kills and an assist.
The Bobcat Junior Varsity won 2-1 (26-24, 18-25, 25-20)
Lacey Lauer had 5 kills and nine points. Mikayla Dolby contributed three kills.
The Bobcats will compete in the Wilson Tournament on Saturday (September 7th).
