Bobcat Girls Fall To Eisenhower In Non-Conference Matchup
The homestanding Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the Eisenhower Knights, 66-41 in a non-conference game on Saturday (January 11th).
The Knights had a 22-11 lead after one and took a 34-18 lead into halftime, after posting a 12-7 edge in the second. The teams scored 11 points each in the third, sending the game to the final stanza, with Eisenhower leading 47-31. A 19-11 Knights advantage there set the final.
Marley Kline led the Bobcats with nineteen points. Natalie Durish had 9 points, followed by Sophie Babington with seven. All three had a trey.
Alivia Diehl and Lilly Shirey scored 7 points apiece, while Lacey Lauer added two.
Clara Steinberg led Eisenhower with twenty-six points. Her teammates Lainey Font and Tracey Jacubezak also also scored in double-figures, with 19 and twelve respectively.
The Bobcats are scheduled to host North Clarion this Wednesday (January 15th).
