Clarion County YMCA Riversharks Swimming Towards Postseason Championships And Districts

The Clarion County YMCA Riversharks swim team may be winding down their 2024-2025 regular season, but they are turning up the numbers of swimmers who have qualified for the 2025 Pennsylvania YMCA Swimming West District Championships.

Many swimmers set a goal to achieve district qualifying times during the regular season and while the Riversharks still have a few postseason meets to go, they have finished their regular season schedule and have had many new District qualifiers. Swimmers can compete at districts by meeting age group-specific qualifying times for individual butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley events.

The following are Riversharks who have qualified for individual events for districts:

Girls 9-10: Addyson Space 50 & 100 breast, and 50 free; Emelia Larson 50, 100 & 200 free.

Girls 11-12: Piper Hoover 50 & 100 fly; Aubree Conticelli 50 back, 50 & 100 breast, and 50 & 100 free; Mya Coradi 50 & 100 back, and 50 free.

Girls 13-14: Ashlyn Clark 100 fly, 100 & 200 back, 100 breast, 50, 100, & 200 free, and 200 & 400 IM; Samantha Lewis 50 free.

Girls 15 & up: Megan Fenske 100 & 200 back, 50 & 100 free, and 200 IM; Kathryn Fenske 500 free; Lila Gourley 100 & 200 back, and 50, 100, 200, & 500 free; Callie Snodgrass 100 & 200 fly, 100 breast, 100 & 200 back, 50, 100, & 200 free, and 200 IM; Maggie Snodgrass 100 back, 100 & 200 breast, 50, 100, 200, & 500 free, and 200 & 400 IM.

Boys 9-10: Declan Kelley 50 & 100 back, and 50 & 100 free; Dylan Space 50 & 100 back, 50 & 100 breast, and 50 & 100 free.

Boys 15 & up: Kevin Young 100 & 200 back, 100 & 200 breast, 50, 100, 200, 500 & 1000 free, and 200 IM.

The Riversharks team can also earn a single spot to compete in age group-specific relay events.

Throughout the season there may be different combinations of relay teammates who achieve a district qualifying time, but the final relay roster spots for the district team will be decided later. Swimmers who have contributed to a district-qualifying relay are listed below:

Girls 9-10 200 Yard Free Relay: Addyson Space, Brynn Hunsberger, Hannah Lawrence, and Emelia Larson

Girls 11-12 200 Yard Medley Relay: Mya Coradi, Audrey Oaks, Piper Hoover, and Aubree Conticelli

Girls 13-14 200 Yard Medley Relay: Samantha Lewis, Lillian Shifflet, Finley Carulli, and Ashlyn Clark

Girls 13-14 200 Yard Free Relay: Lillian Shifflet, Samantha Lewis, Ashlyn Clark, Brylie Glenn, and Finley Carulli

Girls 15 & up 200 Yard Free Relay: Callie Snodgrass, Megan Fenske, Lila Gourley, and Maggie Snodgrass

Girls 15 & up 200 Yard Medley Relay: Megan Fenske, Maggie Snodgrass Callie Snodgrass, and Lila Gourley

Girls 15 & up 400 Yard Free Relay: Maggie Snodgrass, Megan Fenske, Callie Snodgrass, and Lila Gourley.
