KSAC Announces Spring Sports All-Conference; Wildcats’ Mason Burford Boys Track MVP Along With Two Others, Brenna Armstrong Co-Field MVP
The Keystone Athletic Conference (KSAC) has announced their 2025 Spring Sports All-Conference Teams and a number of Wildcats and Bobcats have been selected.
For Wildcats Track and Field: Mason Burford was selected as Boys Track MVP along with Jackson Nicewonger from North Clarion and Braylon Wagner of Redbank Valley. Moniteau’s Ashton Grossman was the Boys Field MVP.
Mason was named to the First Team in the 200 and the 110 Hurdles. Burford was a member of the First Team 400 relay, which also included Ben Lambert, Jase Ferguson, Brody Beggs and Alex Barrett and the 1600 relay, along with Nathan Frederick, Beggs, Wyatt Boyden and Mason Gourley.
The 3200 relay made it a First Team sweep. The team consisted of Jonas Wilshire, Gourley, Brady Guth, Boyden and Chris Kim.
Also garnering First Team individual honors were, Boyden in the 400 and long jump and Hayden Hindman in the shotput.
Second Team selectees were, Gourley in the 800, Wilshire in the 1600, Jason Megnin in the 110 hurdles and Isaac Lerch in the long jump.
Brenna Armstrong was the Girls Co-Field MVP along with Ella Rizzo from Redbank Valley. Redbank Valley’s Mylee Harmon was the Girls.Track MVP.
Armstrong was named to the First Team in the shot put and discus. Joining her on the First Team were Addisen Jackson in the 800, Eliza Datko in the 1600 and Kaitlyn Guth in the 100 hurdles. The 400 relay, which included Jackson, Sophie Babington, Guth and Livia McGinley also made the First Team.
Guth was named to the Second Team in the 300 hurdles and Datko was selected in the 3200. The 3200 relay, consisting of Julianna Schwabenbauer, Reise Jackson, Olivia Radaker, Addisen Jackson, Dana Coulson were also named to the Second Team.
For Bobcats Baseball:
The Bobcats had two First Team selectees, Derek Smail at first base and Noah Harrison in the infield.
There were four Second Teamers, Hayden Weber at catcher, Dylan Smail in the infield, Parker Miller in the outfield and Billy Kahle as the designated hitter.
Ashton Rex was named as a Third Team infielder.
Redbank Valley’s Breckin Minich was named Baseball MVP.
For Wildcats Softball:
Emileigh Mahle was selected to the Third Team as an outfielder.
Gracee Hess from Cranberry was named MVP.
