Softball: Wildcats Down Panthers
The Central Clarion Wildcats downed the homestanding Keystone Panthers 14-2 in six innings, on (Monday, May 12th).
The Wildcats scored 5 runs in the top of the first, 1 in the third, 2 in the fourth and three runs apiece in the fifth and sixth. The Panthers’ runs came in the third and fifth innings.
JJ Wilson and Ashlyn Clark each had two hits, two runs scored and a run driven in for Central Clarion. Emeleigh Mahle singled, doubled and scored two runs.
Jenna Dunn had a single and scored four runs. Alicyn Burford doubled and drove in a pair of runs.Elizabeth Estadt singled, had two RBIs and scored a run.
Brinley Kiskadden had a hit and two runs batted in. Samantha Simpson drove in a run and scored a run. Karlee Mahle scored twice.
Dunn picked up the win, going all six innings in the circle, allowing 6 hits, striking out 4 and walking four.
The Wildcats are scheduled to travel to St. Marys for a 4:30 p.m. game tomorrow (Wednesday, April 14th).
