The Central Clarion Wildcats Softball Team held their Senior Day Festivities prior to their game with the Johnsonburg Rams, at Clarion-Limestone on Thursday, April 24th. (The event was to take place in conjunction with the Clarion-Limestone Lions Baseball Team’s Senior Day, at an earlier date but with weather cancellations, each were held on seperate days.)
Wildcat Seniors JJ Wilson, Emiliegh Mahle, Alicyn Burford, Alexa Kitchen, Brinley Kiskadden, Sam Simpson, Jenna Dunn and their parents were honored.

Individual Senior Banners designed and produced by Dave Cyphert at ProPoint Media displayed on the back of the stands greeted everyone entering the field.

He also designed and produced a wonderful poster with all the Seniors.

Clarion-Limestone Athletic Director Brad Frazier was the emcee. He introduced the girls and parents, sharing a favorite softball memory and future plans for each of the seniors.
The underclassman made a pathway out to the field, for the seniors to meet Wildcat Coaches Don Watson and Marcie Fenstermaker, who shared hugs and handshakes with seniors and their parents. The coaches presented the girls with some wonderful gifts, Roses and gift cards from Sheetz.

The parents came through big time, in making Senior Day 2025 something very special, for these very, very deserving Seniors. They presented each girl, including the four Johnsonburg seniors, a gift bag full of goodies that included bracelets, candy and drinks.
There were lots of Orange and Blue balloons and a softball themed sign that said Senior 2025, for photo opportunities for the Seniors.

A small reception with cakes, cupcakes, brownies and cookies, provided by Maria Wilson, was also held.
After the game ended, pizza from the Pizza Pub were shared players, families and coaches. The pizza was paid from the softball ways and means account.
The Parents made a poster full of memories for each Senior, which were displayed with other commeratives on tables set up for each.

There were Commemorative Jars made, which contained dirt from Paul A. Weaver Field and Clarion-Limestone Field (the two fields the Seniors have called home, throughout their fields. The jars included Orange and Blue Ribbons and a special message for each Senior, in the shape of home plate.

Laura Dunn, along with her friend, Amber Greeley provided the girls with a softballs which had their last names and numbers. There was also neat little tik tok video made of the girls, that afternoon, set to Scotty McCreery’s “5 More Minutes.” The link to the video is below the article.
Amazing commemorative Programs for the girls, complete with their biographies, with the layout also by ProPoint Media, were provided to the Seniors and all others in attendance. Connie Mahle and Tina Simpson and Amber Greeley helped put everything together that day.
It truly was a group effort pulling it all off.
