With the merger of the Clarion-Limestone Lions and the Clarion Area Bobcat Baseball Teams to form the Central Clarion Wildcats, taking place after the season, a very special historic and bittersweet C-L Senior Night, was held on Monday, April 27th.

The Lions honored Kullen Buzza and Thomas Himes as the final two Seniors to ever don the Blue and Gold, after the 8-7 victory over Cranberry.
Emcee for the festivities was Tiffany Jackson, who did double dutie in that capacity, as she also announced the Wildcat Softball Senior Night that same evening.
She introduced the Kullen and Thomas and shared their bios. The two seniors and their escorts entered the diamond and walked through a “tunnel” of teammates and coaches on each side of them, who applauded and cheered for the duo, as did the others in attendance.

Tiffany also made special gift bags that were presented to Thomas and Kullen.
Several families surprised Kullen, Thomas and their teammates and coaches with dinner.
Thanks go out to the Love family for the pizza, the Huwar family for cupcakes and the Jackson family for the refreshments.
Special thanks goes out to Susanne Fenske for taking photos for the event and to Dave Cyphert ProPoint Media Photography for Thomas and Kullen’s banners.
KULLEN’S BIO
Kullen is the son of Katrina and Zachary Buzza.

He is involved in baseball and Wildcat Wrestling.
After graduation, Kullen plans to attend Mercyhurst University, and hopes to play baseball while in the Army Reserves.
He would like to thank Mrs. Stouffer for teaching him the importance of relaxing and not being so serious all the time.

THOMAS’ BIO
Thomas Himes is the son of Regina Himes.

Thomas has played baseball for 4 years, cheered for 1 year and is involved in the Board Games club.

He plans on entering the military in hopes of becoming an electrical repairman for the Apache helicopter.
Thomas would like to thank Mrs. Stouffer for influencing him the most during his high school career.

One thing will remain the same in future seasons, as the Wildcat Baseball Team, will call this field at the Clarion-Limestone Sports Complex home.
(Congratulations to Thomas and Kullen!!!! Special thanks to Susanne Fenske for her photos and to Susanne and Tiffany, for help in producing this article!!)
