Mason Burford Wildcats Top Individual Placewinner At 61st Annual Butler Track And Field Invitational

The Central Clarion Wildcats participated in the 61st Annual Butler Track and Field Invitational at Art Bernardi Stadium, on Saturday, April 18th.

BOYS

Mason Burford was the top individual place finisher for the Wildcats, making the podium with a 5th place finish in the 110 hurdles (14.92). He also finished 44th in the 300 hurdles (47.38).

Charlie Hepfl was 13th in the javelin (143′-4.00″) and 46th in the discus (101′-6.00″)

Brady Guth finished 20th in the 800 (2:02.12). Jonas Wilshire was 22nd in the 800 (2:02.51), with Blake Weckerly finishing 31st in the javelin (121′-3.00″). Jackson Baker was 34th in the 1600 (4:42.56).

Daniel Schweitzer finished in a two-way tie for 51st in the triple jump (35′-1.50″) and was 55th in the long jump (17′-7.50″). Ryan Rinker was 52nd in the 400 (55.56). Ryan Miles was 61st in the long jump (16′-0.00″), with Alex Hummel taking 69th in the 3200 (12:07.85).

The 4×100 relay team, consisting of Jackson Mranvintz, Caleb Hunter, Brody Beggs and Burford finished 9th (43.64), while the 4×800 relay team featuring Baker, Hummel, Rinker and Guth finished 11th (8:26.31).

GIRLS

Isabella Anthony was the top individual placewinner among the Wildcat girls, finishing in a two-way tie for 9th in the shot put (31′-6.00″) and 15th in the discus (86″-1.00″).

Julianna Schwabenbauer finished in a two-way tie in the for 19th in the high jump (4′-10.00″) and came away in 45th in the 800 (2:40.89).

Corrine Hepfl captured 24th in the javelin (93′-9.00″). Emma Fitzsimmons was 27th in the 300 hurdles (51.38). Hannah Love finished 28th in the 1600(5:46.97) and 32nd in the 3200 (12:31.93).

Liv McGinley finished in a two-way tie for 30th in the 200 (27.47) and also finished 32nd in the 400 (1:04.30). Adi Jackson was 38th in the 400(1:05.18).

Dana Coulson finished 51st in the 3200 (14:11.24). Kaelynn Fitzsimmons took 52nd in the javelin (65′-9.00″). Reise Jackson was 53rd in the 800 (6:11.21) and Addison Owen took 73rd in the 200 (32.05).
