Wildcat Boys Compete In 37th Annual Oil Country Invitational

The Central Clarion Wildcat Boys competed in the 37th Annual Oil Country Invitational at Oil City High School’s Oil Field athletic complex, on Saturday, May 2nd, and had some good individual efforts, including a first place, a second, a third and two fourth places in running events..

Brody Beggs was the Wildcats’ top finisher, taking Gold in the 100 with a time of 11.33.

Jackson Baker captured second place in the 800, being clocked at 2:00.76 and Jonas Wilshire was third in the same event with a 2:01.54.

Caleb Hunter finished fourth in the 100, running an 11:34.

Brady Guth placed fourth in the 800, with a time of 2:02.40.

Joshua Turner was sixth in the 3200 at 10:39.81.

Alex Hummel finished nineteenth in the 1600, with a time of 5:19.26.

Kolen Kemmer competed in the javelin, registering a tenth place in the preliminaries at 122-9.

No Wildcat boys relay teams ran.
